Q. What is the AFS?

A. The American Freak Society. We’re just a bunch of freaks that’s all.

Q. Is the AFS really necessary now?

A. The American Freak Society time was born of necessity. For many completely original people needed a place to come together if for no other reason than their very own one of a kindness. The American Freak Society is their safe haven.

Q. Does the AFS have a leader?

A. All freaks in the American Freak society stand equal. You may consider yourself to be a major freak, or you man consider yourself to be a minor freak. Starting your own subdivision is just part of the fun in the American Freak Society

Q. Does the AFS have meetings?

A. No, though Freaks of the Steadfast Exuberance may be gathering now. And though never officially sanctioned be the American Freak Society - Scowling Lugubrious Freaks bumming together in cyberspace is inevitable.

Q. How many people belong to the AFS?

A. Perhaps a better question would be - why doesn’t everybody belong to the AFS? Look around. And be reminded that that the essence of any word cannot be captured by anyone of its meanings, but in that of all of its meanings combined. The freaks of the American Freak Society lend more towards the unique than the abominable.

Q. Will the AFS eventually go international?

A. You’re kidding right? The American freak society is already universal. Some of our freakier logos feature real aliens.

Q. Can my cat join the AFS?

A. Somebody once said, “Look at my curtains. Aren’t my curtains freaks? I’m entering my curtains into the American Freak Society’s special inanimate object freaky curtain sub-cluster.” Your cat is in.

Q. Does the AFS have a credo?

A. No. But we do have a theme song. And here it is:

Q. How much does it cost to join the AFS?

A. The American Freak society has and will remain free to all. However, for a nominal fee, you can log onto our always entertaining bulletin board where the purchasing of American Freak Society trading cards and Freakwentwear? at slightly over cost  is unrestricted.

Q. Does the AFS offer lifetime memberships?

A. Not really. I’m not sure how long I’ll be with the American Freak Society myself. You can quit or leave the American Freak Society anytime. You can even come back later if you like. Everyone is always welcome in the American Freak Society.
